Michigan Former HHS Director to testifies in Lansing
Robert Gordon, the Former Director of the Michigan Health Department, is set to testify before the House Oversight Committee.
Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Director Robert Gordon was paid $155,000 in what some republicans are saying is “hush money” paid out by Michigan’s Gov. Gretchen Whitmer Prior to his abrupt resignation. Gordon stepped down Jan. 22, 2021 from his position during a pandemic for reasons unknown but not before receiving a generous separation agreement for some kind of service rendered or secrets counseled maybe.
The Oversight Committee is now hoping that looking deeper into Gordon’s deal, will create more transparency in Michigan’s government.
